For grown-ups and little listeners

Reading together, your way.

You do not need perfect voices or a perfect bedtime. Sometimes a good story starts with a small invitation.

Make room for the story.

Start with a comfortable place and let the pace feel natural. If a picture catches a child's attention, enjoy that moment. There's no need to rush to the next page.

Follow the questions.

A child may ask why a character feels shy, or where the moon goes in the morning. You don't need every answer; wondering aloud is part of the fun.

It's okay to stop.

A story can be enjoyed over two evenings. And an older child might like to read some lines aloud to you instead.

Choose thoughtfully.
